We are going LIVE to highlight some of our brilliant women creatives in our community. Kicking it off, Deanna Van Buren is one of the national leaders researching, formulating, and advocating for restorative justice centers, a radical transformation of the criminal justice system. Deanna is the Co-Founder, Executive Director, Design Director of Designing Justice + Designing Spaces – an architecture and development firm seeking to use the profession to address structural inequity and to end mass incarceration. As one of our creationships at Ciel, we are honored to have the DJDS team add their energy to our community as they create spaces and buildings for restorative justice, community building, and housing for people coming out of incarceration.
