we are calling in a community conversation about Black women’s economic security & workplace contributions at this Black Women’s Equal Pay Day at Ciel Creative Space. With a panel of women from fashion, design, non-profit organizations, and tech, this is a way to open the dialogue about systematic inequalities and black brilliance within the professional work environment.

Black women working full-time, year-round, earned just 62 cents for every dollar earned by white, non-Hispanic white men in 2020. It is beyond time for Black women to be compensated accurately for their work, supported for their creativity, and centered in the workplace. The minimum is #BlackWomensEqualPay.

Donations will go to Ciel’s BLM Call to Action, and self care packages for the panelists as a thank you for their time, emotional labor, and energy.
